2 more orders on HISS

The new orders are for a black liquor boiler in Iggesund, Sweden, and for a waste incineration plant in southern Sweden. What the customers have in common is that they want to use HISS to gain better control over their boiler and in this way improve the function. At the waste incineration plant, they want to reduce the wear caused by the steam sootblowers. They also want to reduce the amount of steam consumed and use it for generating energy. At Heat Management, we now have a strong tailwind partly due to sales of the HISS portfolio. Another thing that’s positive is how satisfied our existing customers are with their installations, showing improvements in many aspects, not only regarding steam savings, wear reduction, reduced pressure pulsations and increased load but also other improvements that are related to the stability of the boiler Details about the Iggesund black liquor boiler project: This project will include upgrading the existing control system for the 92 [...]

Heat Management bring in business in Spain

Spain is an interesting market in many aspects for Heat Management, partly because of its strong chemical pulp production industry, but also due to having many biofuel boilers. Since the olive oil industry is strong in Spain, a common fuel is based on olive residues. The fuel is rich in energy but can cause severe problems with deposits and fouling in the boiler system. In order to reduce downtime for manual cleaning, Infrasound cleaning will now be used to minimize the problems. Heat Management has now taken the first order within the Spanish olive-based fuel industry. The target is to improve efficiency, reduce downtime and generally improve the process. The fuel is renewable and environmentally friendly, which makes it attractive to use. Big thanks to our partner Per Hörnstein Per Hörnstein has a long experience in the process industry and a lot of knowledge of combusting systems and boilers. He graduated from Chalmers Technical University, in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1974 [...]

Chemical pulp plant in Central Europe implementing HISS

2020 has been busy on many fronts and we’ve been having a lot of orders coming in, both big and small. We can now reveal that we’ve received an order on our High impact sootblowing system (HISS)  from a chemical pulping plant in Central Europe. Up until now, we’ve mainly implemented the HISS solution on plants within Sweden. With this order, we now take the technology to other countries in Europe.  The objective for the client is to further improve their environmental impact as a provider of green energy for the local market. The chemical pulping plants play an important role in generating energy for both district heating and for the generation of renewable electricity. Our new client’s chemical mill needed to meet the objectives of their environmental green strategy. With the implementation of the High impact soot system, the chemical pulping plant will make it possible to increase the amount of steam for the paper machines and also increase [...]
