Q: Can you please explain your background in the Pulp and Paper industry?
I worked in a mill in Sweden for 12 years, then for Gotaverken/Kvaerner for 10 years. I have been self-employed for the last 25 years as a consultant in the paper industry, based in the United States for the past 30 years.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work? What motivates you?
Problem-solving for the chemical recovery boiler operation. I like to help customers improve the operations of chemical recovery boilers.

I joined Heat Management because they have a solution that I believe in. I went to Sweden to see the High Impact Sootblowing System (HISS™) for myself, and I was impressed.

To stay competitive from a production point of view, especially since the market is very competitive and doesn’t allow any production interference.
Q: How do you think Heat Management’s solutions fit into the current state of the market?
The solution will enhance productivity for the chemical recovery boiler(s) as well as power boilers.
Q: What’s next for our partnership together? Are there any upcoming projects or events you’re excited about?
The most exciting challenge is introducing HISS™ to the American market. It will save money and significantly increase boiler uptime, which is imperative for the entire mill.
