Mårten Ekberg, Heat Management, soot blower, Diamond power

We’re happy to welcome Mårten Ekberg to the team! He joins us as a Sales Manager, bringing solid experience from his previous role at Diamond Power, where he worked with sootblowers and related equipment. With his background and hands-on industry knowledge, Mårten is a great addition to the team.

We had a quick chat with him to hear more about his journey so far and what he’s looking forward to in his new role.

Q: Can you describe the atmosphere at Heat management?

The atmosphere at Heat Management is defined by a friendly, can-do, entrepreneurial spirit and an open-minded environment — something I truly appreciate. It’s also a company where people are deeply committed to their work and willing to go the extra mile to reach their goals.

Q: Can you tell us about your earlier experience from the power plant industry?

I have worked with the heat, power, and pulp & paper industries, as well as other sectors involving hot water or steam boilers, both in Sweden and internationally, for the past 20 years. I have only positive things to say about this industry. It is a socially critical sector, generally characterized by good people with sound values. I feel a strong sense of pride in being part of this field.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your work? What motivates you?

What motivates me is developing and implementing business, as well as helping our clients solve technical problems and challenges. I enjoy providing smart solutions that Heat Management has to offer. Another aspect I appreciate about working at Heat Management is that our customers are located all over the world. Even though we are a relatively small company, we operate globally – something I truly enjoy.

Q: How come you applied for a position here at Heat Management?

I had my eye on Heat Management for quite some time, as the company offers many interesting, smart, and energy-efficient solutions. Our technology helps boilers operate more efficiently, smoothly, and predictably — reducing fuel consumption and lowering emissions. We can identify potential problem areas in the boiler in advance, and we enable critical cleaning to be carried out in a smarter, faster, and more effective way. I came across Heat Management by chance at an industry fair — and that’s how I first got to know the company.

Q: What’s next? Any upcoming projects you’re excited about?

I’m currently working on several interesting and exciting projects. Many of them focus on reducing energy consumption, and in some cases, we’ve successfully achieved reductions of over 40%, thanks to our patented and intelligent solutions.
