Finspångs Tekniska Verk improved boiler performance and reduced maintenance by installing Heat Management’s APM350 infrasound cleaning system on two separate boilers.
The first installation, on a biomass boiler in 2008, stabilized flue gas temperatures, reduced fouling, and increased production capacity by 5–10%. After years of reliable operation, a second unit was installed in 2024 on the waste boiler’s economizer and flue gas channel, eliminating the need for shot cleaning and compressed air cleaning.
Together, the installations provide a low-maintenance solution that improves availability, reduces wear, and supports stable long-term operation
