The goal with the Infrasound Cleaner projects at Södra Wood was to reduce the need for manual cleaning and auxiliary firing due to the reduced number of stops. Before installing Infrasound Cleaners, there was no automatic cleaning system installed. Compressed air lances were used every 0.5 to 2 weeks to remove deposits at the inlet of the tube passes. The installation of two Infrasound Cleaners reached the goals set at the start of the project, and they can also see a reduced oil consumption since the installation.
