At SYSAV Kraftvärmeverk, Continuous shot cleaning was used for keeping the economiser clean as well as the convection area. The power plant had to shut down the boilers for manual cleaning of the economiser and the convection area every 10- 12 weeks.

The power plant installed Infrafone’s infrasound generators to:

– Reduce the wear on the tube bundles and the tube walls
– Reduce the wear on a flue gas fan, caused by fragments of shots
– Reduce maintenance costs
– Increase the time between manual cleaning
– Increase boiler efficiency
– Improve the working environment
