Växjö Energy’s core business consists of heat production and power generation, as well as IT communication with over 29 000 customers. The technical development and the fact that Växjö Energy uses biofuel, has led to nearly fossil-free production.

Before the installation of the Infrasound cleaner, the economiser and air preheater was cleaned by steam sootblowers twice every day, and the catalyst was cleaned once per day. The installation of the Infrasound Cleaner leads to a 50% reduction of steam sootblowing in the economiser and air preheater, and full elimination of sootblowing in the catalyst.
